Research and Creative
Activity
The College of Arts and Sciences is a vibrant center for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research and creative activity across the disciplines of arts and humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.
The Office of Research and Creative Activity provides custom, concierge service to PIs for the preparation and submission of all non-technical proposal documents, which allows PIs to focus on preparing technical narratives. We ensure compliance with internal and external requirements. These services include:
- Interpreting sponsor guidelines
- Creating sponsor-specific timelines and checklists
- Developing budget and justification documents with Primary Investigators
- Building proposal packages (Grants.gov, Research.gov, etc)
- Obtaining subrecipient and consultant paperwork
- Ensuring cost share commitments are accurate
- Entering Cayuse Sponsored Project proposal information
- Assisting with proposals being awarded
- Training on award management best practices
“The creativity and diversity of pursuits in the College are truly remarkable. Our portfolio is stunning in depth and breadth. Consider any axis of exploration- spatial, cultural, social, or the like- and you will find an inspiring range of investigations underway or in the works.”
